Goblin Glasses (Miko Revereza) is a beatmaker from boring suburb Fremont CA. During the post-Dilla resurgence of beat making subculture, he purchased his Boss sp 303 off Craigslist. He frequents record shopping for samples in San Francisco after classes at City College. In a conversation with Miko he once described his beats like a lens flare in the afternoon light. Similar themes of ethereal imagery is consistent throughout his work. Mothership88 is his first release, originally hand distributed as free copies in xerox paper sleeves. Currently he’s making films and making more beats out of the comfort of his bedroom.
